This is a 1.85 metre tide. There is extra water in the river system because of the huge rainfalls inland and to the north. The waters are brown but will clear up soon in time for the holidays. The Clarence River is flowing fast with all the extra water so be careful out there. Look out for floating hazards.

This Hood 20 has been fully restored. She’s in great shape and ready to sail away. Huge list of extras go with this Hood classic. Registered trailer with extended draw bar. Mercury 9.9HP Four-stroke motor. She’s in top shape and you don’t need to spend a dollar. She’s at Yamba Marina for inspection.

Great to see all the hard work has paid off on this old fishing boat. Well done all.

We often get asked about tides at marina. The total range is from about .02 of a metre (low) to 2.1 metres (high). The main picture is a tide of about 1.8 metres and there’s plenty of room as you can see from the second picture for the floating marina to cope with more water. Huge amounts of water flow up and down the Clarence River every day however as the marina is in a protected harbour the marina simply floats up and down. A safe place for boats in all weather.

With Australia opening up again the rush is on for berths. The holidays look like they will be REALLY busy so if you are thinking of coming to Yamba PLEASE BOOK in advance. Call the office 02 6646 9898.

This trawler is undergoing major works at Yamba Marina. A great job being done by her owners. Now we just need the weather to cooperate a little bit more!

Boating season is here and activity is really picking up. Boats on the hardstand, fuel tankers bringing bulk fuel and hire boats out every day. Bookings for the holidays are very strong. If you are planning to come to the marina in the next few month call us NOW. We want to find a berth for you…but it’s first-in best dressed!

Great to see some local bird life in the marina. These pelicans are regular visitors, as are some friendly dolphins and schools of fish. Yamba Marina is fish friendly so we don’t allow fishing from the pontoons, boats or wharves. There is plenty of water in the river for that. We are open all the long weekend. The weather is perfect. Come and hire a boat and go for a cruise on the mighty Clarence River. You can fish or simply cruise the blue waters. You don’t need a boat licence and we
