This picture was taken at low tide today so you can see there is a lot of flood water on top of the tide. The water is very brown because huge amounts of top soil are being washed down the Clarence River. Yamba Marina is again coping well with flood waters because we are located in a safe, protected boat harbour. Flood waters in the Clarence are predicted to peak in the next 24 hours. There is going to be a lot of debris washed out to sea along the NSW Coast this week so be careful if you are planning a trip. RPAYC did the right thing in cancelling the Pittwater to Coffs yacht race. Safety must always come first.
Autumn sunshine. Perfect place to transit.
Looking out the front door
We need a bigger marina!
Flood on top of tide
These two pictures were taken today at high tide of 1.63 metres. The walkway is never this high on that tide. It looks like there is about 500ML of flood water on top of the tide. All is OK. The sun is now out and the flood waters upstream have dropped dramatically. The flood water at Yamba should start to drop over the next few days.

All good…..despite the rain and now the flood!
