The hardstand is busy. Floods have been and gone (for now). If you need to work on your boat please book in because hardstand space is at a premium.

The far North Coast has copped it again and we are getting more flood waters at the marina. These pictures are at high tide this morning. More flood waters will come down the river from Grafton over the next 24 hours. All the boats in the marina are safe HOWEVER we recommend all owners check on board for any rain water. Be safe on the water – and on the roads!

It is very busy on the waterfront and berths at the marina are scarce. Please call in advance if you are seeking a berth for one day or one week or one month!. You can also book via the website at   Moorings are also heavily committed so plenty of notice is required.

It’s now over a week since the floods around Yamba dropped to below minor levels. It is our pleasure to report that Yamba Marina survived this massive weather event unscathed. As the marina is in a protected boat harbour we were not affected at all by the huge amount of debris that came washing down the Clarence River. Whole fence lines, huge water tanks and tons and tons of timber created havoc along the banks of the river but the marina did not get affected at all. The water levels were the highest we have seen but the marina structure still had plenty of clearance for extra water rises. All our boats are OK but we still would like owners who have not checked down below to get on board to look for leaks and pooling water. Be safe if you go out on the river…there are plenty of obstacles still about and many of the channel markers have moved or been destroyed, Be safe

Water levels continue to be high at the marina…..this morning still around 600mm above the predicted tide. Boats are floating almost at road level.

The rain continues to hammer down on the far north coast. The ground is soaked and the huge water flows in the major rivers are a sight to see. It is going to take days for the waters to drop so we all must be patient. If you have a boat at Yamba Marina we’d like to ask that you come and check on it when you can. The BOM is predicting things will lighten in the next 12 hours so if you can visit your boat please do so.

Huge amounts of water continue to fall in Northern NSW. Yamba has seen its share and so far everything is going OK. We would like to ask all owners to check on board their boats when they can to look for any leaks…as you know water will find its way on board anyway it can!!! We are checking that all boats are floating on their lines but it is worth a check on board when you have the time. The Clarence had more than half-a-metre of water above the predicted tide yesterday….

Just had a huge blow go through Yamba. Gusts to over 50kmh. Now thunder and lightning!!!! Hold on tight…..

The marina is looking in good shape after a busy summer period. Please remember if you are seeking a casual berth please call in advance….space is tight.

This pretty yacht is on its way to its new home in Tasmania.
